IMPORTANT – even though you have opted out of Sportradar:

You will still see Sportradar recommendations. Opting out of Sportradar personalization tracking does not mean you will no longer receive recommendations from Sportradar. Instead, it means that Sportradar’s recommendations will not be personalized. The recommendations will still use information about the document you are viewing (i.e. contextual information) to provide you recommendations on that page.

The opt-out is cookie based and device/browser specific. If you browse the web from several devices and/or browsers, you will need to opt out from each device and/or browser to ensure that we prevent personalization tracking on all of them. For the same reason, if you buy a new device, change browsers or delete (or clear) the opt-out cookie, you will need to opt out again. Opting-out of personalization tracking is not the same as blocking cookies.

As with most opt-out cookies, the Sportradar browser opt-out relies upon a cookie. The opt-out cookie is intended to be persistent to honor the user’s preferences.

Embedded Content

Social plugins for various online social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) are integrated into our Websites. These allow you to place bookmarks on these sites and share them with other members of the online social networks. You can recognize social plugins by means of the logos that can be seen on the websites of the online social networks.

If you call up a webpage containing these social plugins on our Websites, a direct connection is established with the servers of the online social network and from there the plugin image (which is now visible to you) and associated functions are communicated directly to your browser, which integrates them into the layout of our Website. If you are logged into the online social network under your username and password at this point, the fact that you are visiting our Website is communicated to the said network and information to this effect can be assigned to your user account.

When you interact with the social plugins, for example, if you share one of our Websites or use the Facebook “Like” or “Share” or the Twitter “Tweet This” function, the content of our Website will be linked with your profile within the online social network. If you are not a member of the online social network or have logged out from these providers before visiting our Website, there is still a possibility that at least your IP address will be communicated and stored there.
