*All data within Sportradar’s weekly Disruptors series was compiled by utilizing our sports intelligence tool, radar360. The tool allows us to easily compile reports that combine traditional stats like sacks with subjective stats like knock downs and hurries to produce a total pressures metric. This metric allows us to provide analysis on which players and teams are the most disruptive each week.
Looking at sack totals alone would completely diminish the impact of this week’s leading Disruptors. The Eagles’ Brandon Graham totaled 4 knock downs and 5 hurries, but was held without a sack in the Week 16 win over the Giants. Likewise, Dee Ford notched 3 knock downs, 5 hurries and 0 sacks as the Chiefs’ ended the Broncos playoff hopes.
With one game left to play, the Miami Dolphins are safely secured as the most disruptive team in the NFL while Khalil Mack, Aaron Donald and Brandan Graham look to battle to see who will end up on top of the leaderboard.
