VICE Sports Partners with Sportradar for Second Screen Soccer Experience

Sportradar’s Live Sports Centre to drive VICE Sports’ coverage of Copa America and Euro 2016


NEW YORK CITY AND MINNEAPOLIS – June 7, 2016: VICE Sports announced today it has teamed with Sportradar, the leading provider of sports data services globally, to use their Live Sports Centre for two of the most prestigious soccer championships in the world – Copa America and Euro 2016. The Live Sports Centre provides media companies an immersive content experience for mobile and web. The Copa America tournament begins June 3rd across 10 US cities and the Euro 2016 commences on June 10th in France.

Sportradar’s Live Sports Centre hosted solution is loaded with fixtures, live scores, player profiles, match commentary and predictive content such as win and draw percentage for each team. It also includes the latest social media input from the players, teams and organizations. The application is fully customizable and also enables advertising and promotion opportunities.

The partnership with the Sportradar and Men in Blazers is the most recent in a series of partnerships for VICE Sports. Last month, VICE Sports partnered with ESPN to distribute new episodes of ongoing franchises and produce exclusive content for ESPN’s channels. VICE Sports also recently premiered a new show on VICELAND, VICE World of Sports. And earlier this year, the publisher joined forces with Carmelo Anthony to launch the award-winning series Stay Melo, which follows the life of The Knicks’ star off the court.
