Pittsburgh Steelers running backs Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount will be charged with marijuana possession after an arrest Wednesday afternoon following a traffic stop, according to NFL.com. Bell also will be charged with DUI.

A black Chevy Camaro driven by Bell was pulled over at 1:30 p.m. when Ross Township police allegedly noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police say the officer found Bell, Blount and an unidentified woman with 20 grams of marijuana.

Bell was taken to a hospital to have blood drawn.

Charges will be filed through the mail, and both are misdemeanors. If charged, both players would be subject to the league’s substance abuse policy.

Bell is the starter, but Blount is expected to share the workload this season and likely get goal-line carries. Bell rushed for 860 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games last season as a rookie.
