Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon was arrested Saturday morning on a DWI charge in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Gordon has reportedly already been given a season-long suspension for previous infractions related to failed drug tests, and the most recent arrest could extend the punishment. He is due to have an appeal hearing later this month regarding the season-long suspension for a failed drug test in May.

He missed the first two games of the 2013 season as a result of a separate suspension.

Despite the missed time, Gordon caught 87 passes and led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards last season. Unfortunately, his off-the-field issues have been plentiful, as he also failed drug tests while in college at Baylor and Utah.

With the new DWI charge, Gordon is facing the distinct possibility of an indefinite suspension from the NFL.
